Job summary

American Food & Vending is seeking a culinary supervisor to oversee daily meal service and catering orders while assisting with prep and serving when needed.

You will manage weekly inventory, online catering systems, and POS opening/closing. The role includes staff development, labor planning, and scheduling in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have culinary/hospitality degree or equivalent.
• 2+ years in a culinary supervisor role in retail, manufacturing, or education dining services.
• Strong time management, scheduling and organization.

Pay: Pay varies by location

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily meal service and catering orders; able to assist with food prep and serving when needed.
• Assist with weekly inventory, knowledge of on-line catering order systems, and POS opening and closing procedures.
• Staff development, manage labor, work schedules and employees.
• Superior customer service skills are required; will interact daily with our customers and client.
• May assist with special projects or events.
• May be assigned other duties and responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

• Preferred: Culinary or Hospitality Degree from an accredited college, technical school, or culinary association.
• 2+ years' experience in a similar culinary supervisor position in retail, manufacturing, or education dining services.
• Excellent time management, scheduling, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively and enthusiastically in a fast-paced environment.
