Job summary

The Summit Hotel in Cincinnati is seeking friendly dining attendants to maintain a clean, welcoming space and assist guests. You will clear tables, sanitize surfaces, restock supplies, and help guests with seating and questions. This role supports overall floor and sanitation operations and requires stamina for long shifts.

Weekend/evening availability is a plus. Entry-level applicants are welcome; prior cafeteria or restaurant experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Friendly customer service and basic English communication is required.
• Able to stand and walk for long shifts; lift up to 25–30 pounds.
• Punctual with reliable attendance; able to work weekends/evenings.
• Experience in cafeteria/restaurant is helpful, but entry-level applicants welcome.

Responsibilities

• Table maintenance: promptly clear used trays, plates, cups, and trash from tables and counters.
• Sanitation: wipe down and sanitize dining tables, chairs, and high chairs between guests.
• Station upkeep: empty trash and recycling bins regularly; sweep and mop dining area floors as needed.
• Guest assistance: help visitors find seating, answer general questions about the venue, or assist families and elderly guests.
• Supply restocking: keep condiment stations, napkins, straws, and utensils fully stocked.
• Safety compliance: report spills, broken furniture, or safety hazards to management immediately.
