Job summary

Black Bear Diner in Texas seeks a Supervisor to support the management team during daily operations. You will work with team members to ensure guest satisfaction, safe food handling, and accurate cash handling while leading staff to maintain high morale.

Responsibilities include line checks, pre-shift meetings, inventory control, and adherence to labor guidelines and health regulations.

Qualifications

• High School or GED is required or equivalent.
• Previous shift supervisory restaurant experience desirable.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Knowledgeable in front and back of house functions and assist as needed.
• Lead staff to promote efficiency and high morale while complying with regulations.
• Ensure food safety practices meet standards and regulatory requirements.
• Control inventory and labor per guidelines; handle cash procedures.
• Open and/or close the diner; conduct line checks and pre-shift meetings.
