Mesquite Entertainment is seeking a Barista to prepare and serve coffee, alcoholic and specialty beverages, and food in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner. You will process transactions, maintain cleanliness, and create a welcoming environment for guests.

Responsibilities include following recipes, operating the POS, verifying guest ages per policy, and delivering excellent guest service in a fast-paced casino setting.

Qualifikationen

• The successful Barista will demonstrate a commitment to providing outstanding guest service while maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
• Previous food service, coffee shop, or restaurant experience preferred.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to listen attentively and accurately fulfill guest orders.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills and the ability to accurately handle cash and process transactions.
• Must be able to read, write, understand and communicate verbally in English.

Aufgaben

• Prepare workstations and equipment for daily operations, ensuring all supplies and products are stocked and ready for service.
• Greet and acknowledge all guests promptly, professionally, and courteously.
• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso-based beverages, specialty drinks, alcoholic beverages, and other menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Accurately take and enter food and beverage orders into the Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the bar, service stations, storage areas, and surrounding work areas.
• Verify guest age and identification in accordance with company policy and state liquor regulations, and monitor alcohol consumption and exercise responsible beverage service practices, refusing service when appropriate and notifying management as needed.
• Account for and reconcile all cash, credit card, comp, and other transactions in accordance with company procedures.
• Stock and replenish bar supplies, glassware, garnishes, and inventory as needed to ensure operational readiness.
• Comply with all company policies, health and sanitation regulations, safety procedures, and departmental standards.
• Other job-related duties as assigned and instructed by management.
