Job summary

Mesquite Entertainment is seeking a Bartender to provide exceptional guest service while preparing and serving beverages in accordance with recipes and liquor laws. This role requires a minimum of 1 year bartending experience and flexibility for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Starting wage is $12.00 per hour plus tips.

Responsibilities include accurate POS entry, maintaining a clean bar, verifying age, and delivering prompt service in a fast-paced casino environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year bartending experience.
• Food server experience preferred.
• Knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, cocktails, and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to work flexible schedules including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge guests promptly, professionally, and courteously.
• Prepare and serve beverages using approved recipes and presentation standards.
• Enter food and beverage orders into the POS system accurately.
• Deliver beverages promptly and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and surrounding areas.
• Verify guest age and ID in accordance with policy and liquor laws, monitor alcohol service.
• Reconcile cash, card, and other transactions per procedures.
• Stock and replenish bar supplies to ensure readiness.
• Comply with health, safety and department standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
