Job summary

General Atomics is seeking a Quality Inspector for our Tupelo, MS site. You will inspect parts, tooling fixtures and assemblies to ensure compliance with customer requirements and specifications, using GD&T and various metrology tools.

The role requires reading drawings, performing complex calculations, and maintaining inspection records. Travel to customer or vendor sites may be required, with a strong emphasis on quality assurance and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent, with three+ years in quality inspections or certs.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and perform complex math.
• Strong communication and attention to detail required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machined parts, assemblies and materials for regulatory and customer compliance.
• Set up and operate measuring/testing equipment including GD&T.
• Possibly operate CMM and other metrology gear for final or in-process inspection.
• Maintain and update inspection records and reports.
• Assist during audits and regulatory reviews.
