Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking an Aerospace Precision Quality Inspector to verify dimensional and visual conformity of components across receiving, in-process, and final inspection stages. You will use micrometers, calipers, height gauges, optical comparators, and CMMs while documenting results per QMS and customer requirements.

The role requires 3–5 years of aerospace quality inspection experience, a solid grasp of GD&T, and the ability to maintain rigorous inspection records.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of quality inspection experience in aerospace or similarly regulated precision-manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, tolerances, and manufacturing travelers.
• Fluency with analog and digital inspection equipment (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, indicators, bore gauges).
• Foundational knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• Accuracy in documenting results and maintaining traceable quality records.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and visual inspections at receiving, in-process, and final stages.
• Use metrology tools and CMMs to verify dimensions and surface quality per drawings.
• Document inspection results in computer and manual logs for traceability.
• Create and maintain inspection records and supporting documentation.
• Support calibration and maintenance of measuring devices per ISO standards and QP 7.6.
