Job summary

US Farathane is seeking a Dimensional Lab Technician to join the Auburn Hills Technology Center. This 2nd-shift role (2 PM–11 PM) focuses on dimensional conformance using CMMs, 3D scanners, and hand tools.

You will apply GD&T fundamentals, perform calibration of hand instruments, generate clear dimensional reports, and communicate results to stakeholders. Occasional travel to other USF facilities is expected.

Qualifications

• Proficient in CMM operation and metrology equipment.
• GDT fundamentals understood and applied to tasks.
• Experience with hand measurement tools and calibration.

Responsibilities

• Operate measuring equipment (CMM, 3D scanner, or optical comparator).
• Perform hand measurement with calipers, micrometers, height gauge.
• Assess GD&T feasibility for tolerances and datum structures.
• Generate clear dimensional reports for stakeholders.
• Travel to other USF facilities as required.
