Applied Technical Services, LLC (ATS) invites applications for a part-time internship on the Dimensional Inspection team in Atlanta, GA. You will gain hands-on experience with coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), vision inspection systems, laser scanners, portable CMMs, and industrial CT, performing inspection tasks under supervision.
This internship offers mentorship from seasoned engineers and technicians, with exposure to GD&T and inspection reporting in a high-precision metrology
Qualifications
- Intern on ATS’s Dimensional Inspection team gains hands-on experience with CMMs, vision systems, laser scanners, portable CMMs and industrial CT.
Responsabilités
- Assist engineers and technicians with dimensional inspection projects in the laboratory.
- Support inspections using CMMs, vision systems, laser scanners, portable CMMs, industrial CT, and other precision measurement equipment.
- Interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T requirements.
- Assist with equipment setup, part handling, data collection, and basic analysis of inspection results.
- Learn and follow applicable inspection procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.
