Zusammenfassung

Applied Technical Services, LLC is seeking an intern for the Dimensional Inspection team in Marietta, GA. The intern will gain hands-on experience with CMMs, vision systems, laser scanners, portable CMMs, and industrial CT, assisting with inspections and data analysis.

The role includes interpreting drawings, tolerances, and GD&T, along with following procedures and safety guidelines. Mentoring from experienced engineers will be provided.

Qualifikationen

Minimum high school diploma with strong safety focus.
Attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and data.
Basic math, geometry and reading engineering drawings.

Aufgaben

Assist engineers and technicians with dimensional inspection projects in the laboratory.
Support inspections using CMMs, vision systems, laser scanners, portable CMMs, industrial CT, and other precision measurement equipment.
Interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T requirements.
Assist with equipment setup, part handling, data collection, and basic analysis of inspection results.
Learn and follow applicable inspection procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.
