Job summary

Beyond SOF is seeking a diligence leader to drive investment assessments across opportunity, coverage, and realization stages. You will integrate technical, ownership, manufacturing, founder, commercial, and financial diligence to inform leadership decisions.

You will set investment amounts and scenarios, direct analysts, and maintain maps with rationale. Strong written/verbal communication and the ability to work in complex environments are essential.

Qualifications

• Six or more years of relevant experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in complex, multidisciplinary environments.
• Experience coordinating with senior leaders, technical experts, or operational stakeholders.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver quality results.
• Demonstrated experience performing responsibilities directly related to the position.

Responsibilities

• Lead the diligence team across opportunity, coverage, and realization stages.
• Integrate technical, ownership, manufacturing, founder, commercial, and financial diligence.
• Set investment amounts, conditions, and scenarios; present to leadership.
• Direct analysts; commission outside expertise when needed.
• Maintain eligible-buyer and realization maps with version history.
• Challenge capital and production assumptions with scenario analysis.
• Preserve dissent and carry disagreements to leadership for resolution.
