Job summary

Kalesta Healthcare Group's Bellevue Post-Acute facility seeks a dedicated Laundry Aide to collect, sort, launder, and distribute resident clothing and linens, maintaining a clean and sanitary environment while following infection control and safety protocols.

You will work under the Housekeeping Supervisor, ensuring timely processing, proper handling of resident belongings, and respectful, courteous communication with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No professional license required.
• Prior laundry or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Collect and sort laundry by color, fabric type and soiling.
• Operate washers and dryers safely and per procedures.
• Measure and use detergents and cleaners according to instructions.
• Return clean linens to resident rooms and maintain organized areas.
• Follow infection control policies and use PPE as required.
