Job summary

Freudenberg Group in Findlay, Ohio, is seeking a Digitalization Engineer to advance manufacturing digitalization initiatives on site. You will integrate PLC/MES/SCADA systems, connect machines, and turn data into actionable improvements.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in manufacturing engineering or Industry 4.0, with hands-on experience in Ignition, Power BI, SQL, APIs, and strong cross-functional collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• 3+ years in manufacturing engineering, automation, digitalization or Industry 4.0.
• Experience with PLCs, MES, SCADA, machine connectivity, and industrial networks.
• Knowledge of Ignition, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Grafana or similar.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Automation, Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, automation, digitalization, industrial technology, or Industry 4.0 environments.
• Experience with manufacturing systems such as PLCs, MES, SCADA, machine connectivity, industrial networks, or manufacturing data acquisition platforms.
• Knowledge of digitalization tools such as Ignition, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Grafana, or similar technologies.
• Experience working with SQL, databases, APIs, scripting, programming, or industrial communication protocols.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate manufacturing data into actionable business improvements.
• Proven ability to lead projects, collaborate across functions, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
