Job summary

Fisher Investments in Camas, WA is seeking a Digital Workplace Manager to lead end-user technology strategy across SCCM, Intune, Azure, and VDI, ensuring a secure and seamless employee experience.

You will mentor staff, partner with Security, IT and Engineering, drive cloud-based modernization, governance, and risk controls, while delivering measurable improvements and reports to executives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in the listed technologies with end-user device support in financial services.
• 2+ years of people management within a Digital Workplace environment.
• Strong governance and security expertise and risk management for end users.
• Experience with Windows 11, macOS and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
• Desktop HW standards, refresh cycles, OS standards
• Experience with Windows 11, Mac OS, and Azure Virtual Desktop
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Lead end-user technology, services and platforms for a seamless FI workspace.
• Staff IT project teams and ensure results meet negotiated customer expectations and internal standards.
• Troubleshoot complex problems and drive performance improvements in your area.
• Oversee desktop virtualization including VDI, Citrix, and related infrastructure.
• Collaborate with FI Security to implement and monitor endpoint vulnerability processes.
• Partner with Engineering to adopt cloud-based solutions for efficiency and end-user experience.
• Collaborate with Networking to ensure secure, reliable Wi‑Fi across locations.
• Create executive reports with clear remediation recommendations for vulnerabilities.
• Manage vulnerability SLAs and align with Cybersecurity.
• Conduct midyear and annual performance reviews; mentor direct reports and hire when needed.
• Measure SLA performance and ensure goals are met
• Lead performance reviews and 1:1 staff meetings
• Interview and hire DWP staff; mentor direct reports

We are looking for a Digital Workplace Manager to join our team and assist us in supporting and maintaining our Digital Workplace.

The Opportunity:

The DWP (Digital Workplace) Team Lead is a visionary, who will set direction and will reimagine how Fisher Investments employee will use their productivity tools, devises and services. You will build strong partnership and relationships with other teams in Technology, Security and with key partners to understand their requirements and to translate them into technical solutions.

You and your team will be responsible for various platforms, including End Point Management, OSD, Application packaging/Patching, SCCM, Intune, Azure Remote Access, Mobility, DLP, End Point Security, and Vulnerability. You will build digital workplace strategy and transformation with a heavy focus on end-user experience, challenging the status quo, and having deep insight into external technology trends. Guide the technology innovation, developing technology roadmaps and completing, delivering measurable improvements and results. Must have strong governance and security expertise and in managing and mitigating risk through establishing controls, using security related tools, establishing and implementing associate processes.

You will report to the Associate Vice President, Digital Workplace.

The Day-to-Day:

• Lead the end-user technology, services and platforms, focused on delivering a seamless workforce experience accessing FI's tools, apps and services.
• Staff and manage IT project teams and service units with specialists to ensure results meet negotiated customer expectations and follow internal IT standards, methodologies, and strategies.
• Troubleshoot special problems and lead performance improvement efforts for one's area based on a solid understanding of the technical concepts, methods, and practices applied by reporting staff.
• Desktop and application virtualization including VDI standards, application publishing, Citrix, AVD and associated hardware infrastructure (not including Network)
• Collaborate with internal security team to build / support process related to end point vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with Engineering on a long-term vision to use Cloud-based solution to achieve efficiency, cost savings and a seamless end-user experience
• Collaborate with Networking to insure a seamless, efficient and secure use of Wi-Fi regardless of location
• Collaborate closely with FI Security team to insure standards are well understood and proper controls are implemented, tracked and any deviation is quickly remediated.
• Create reports and present to executive management with factual documentation of issues identified and clear recommendation for mitigation of found vulnerabilities.
• Establish and maintain vulnerability management SLA's and standards in partnership with the Cybersecurity organization.
• Measure and report on performance. Ensure all service-level agreements are met and goals are achieved
• Perform Direct report Midyear and yearly reviews. Hold weekly - Bi-Weekly 1:1 staff meeting to build success plans to work toward growing individuals.
• Interview and Hire DWP Staff as requirement come open within the group.
• Lead and mentor direct reports within DWP.

Your Qualifications:

• Must have 8+ years of experience in above mentioned Technologies, with proven experience providing end-user device support in a financial service organization of similar scale and complexity
• 2+ years of experience in people management, specifically leading infrastructure operations teams within a Digital Workplace environment
• Strong end-user expertise on platforms like SCCM, Intune AZURE, VDI, Remote Access, Mobility, productivity apps like Office 365 etc.
• Strong governance and security expertise and in managing risks for end-users
• Desktop experience including HW platform, standards, roadmap, refresh cycle, security, management, Operating System standards
• Experience in Windows 11, Mac OS and Azure Virtual desktop knowledge
• Expert knowledge in Digital Workplace and end user device strategy and transformation with heavy focus on user experience, challenging the status quo, and with a deep insight in to external technology trends
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience

Compensation:

• $150,000 - $200,000 base salary per year in the state of WA. New hires should expect to start at the lower end of the range depending on experience
• Eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance
