Job summary

Associated Electric Cooperative, Inc. is building a digital twin for its power-plant fleet. You will design lakehouse models, create data pipelines, and integrate telemetry with financial data to enable data-driven decisions at all levels of the organization.

You will work on a cloud-first Microsoft stack (Azure, Databricks, Delta Lake, Synapse) to power enterprise analytics, improve asset reliability, and drive performance across MO/AR/OK territories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience.
• Strong foundation in data engineering, system design and enterprise integration patterns.
• Proficiency with ETL/ELT, SQL/NoSQL, and cloud-based data platforms (Azure).
• Expertise in data modeling, star schemas, and semantic layers for analytics.
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own the Data Design: Architect lakehouse models and pipelines bringing together telemetry, work management and financial data.
• Build the Digital Twin: Design models that integrate asset-level predictive data with financial and operational data.
• Fuse the Enterprise: Integrate financial perspectives into reliability and lifecycle models across systems.
• Build for the Users: Champion end-users with data-driven insights and fast, reliable analytics.
• Ship: Collaborate with PM, UX, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver a web-based product your users will adopt.
