That’s what you do, you move entire organizations forward through process automation and the development, integration, and improvement of artificial intelligence (AI) tools. This is your opportunity to accelerate how the Department of War (DoW) understands its missions, capabilities, challenges, and modernization pathways. As a digital transformation specialist, you’ll work to enhance existing analytic processes via automation and AI integration that accelerates and improves the robustness of outputs and drives teamwide efficiency gains. What You’ll Work On:

• Automated location, ingestion, and targeted substantive analysis of unclassified and classified doctrine, policies, plans, strategic guidance, reports, surveys, and interview transcripts.
• Automated tagging of qualitative insights and data for thematic similarities and recommendation of consolidation opportunities, including providing rationales and traceability to source material.
• Automated development of Department of Defense Architecture Frameworks.
• Automated identification of relevant organizational stakeholders and individual points of contact, including accessing Department of War directories, generate invites and track RSVPs, and enable compliance with facility event and working meeting requirements.
• Automated identification of relevant offices of primary and collateral responsibility based on roles and responsibilities outlined in legislation, policy, and doctrine.
• Automated identification and tracking of relevant adjacent studies and efforts, including Integrated Acquisition Portfolio Reviews, Capability Portfolio Management Reviews, and Technology Modernization Transition Reviews.
• Automated validation and refinement of cost estimates.
• Automated technical editing, including macro development or other tools to review of documents for terminology, citation, acronym, portion marking, and other style and formatting requirements.
• Unification of above functionalities into a single interface that can operate at the Top Secret level.

You Have:

• Experience using AI/ML tools such as NLP or data integration platforms to automate data collection, sorting, and analysis
• Experience with agentic AI tools, prompt engineering, and modern developer tooling for building custom AI solutions
• Experience with digital transformation and change management processes necessary for end user familiarization and system maintenance following initial implementation
• Experience with macro development in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, or PowerPoint
• Top Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• Experience working with federal departments and agencies such as the DoW
• Experience with strategic-to-operational organizations, roles and responsibilities, and processes
• Experience with Department of War institutional change mechanisms, including Capability Portfolio Management (CPM), the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS), or Joint Force Requirements Process (JFRP)
• Experience identifying, developing, and engaging communities of interest at the O-5 or GS-14+ level
• Experience with structured interviews with O-5 or GS-14+ federal employees
• Experience organizing and managing conferences or workshops, including classified and unclassified events

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract‑specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
