Job summary

Honda is seeking a Digital Tools Engineer to develop, deploy, and support digital solutions across the Interior Development Division. You will automate engineering workflows, perform data-driven analyses, and help reduce development lead times through modern software practices.

The role requires hands-on scripting in Python/JavaScript, and experience with the Microsoft ecosystem (Power Platform, PowerBI) and CAD tool integration. Onsite with some remote flexibility and travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelors level degree in Software Engineering / CS / IT or equivalent
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience
• Experience developing engineering automation tools
• Experience with Power Platform and SharePoint APIs
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript
• Software development experience in OOP (C++/Java)
• Microsoft ecosystem: PowerApps, PowerBI, Power Automate
• Knowledge of CAD tools integration (CATIA V6)
• Desirable: AI-assisted development and data modeling

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and support digital tools to automate engineering workflows
• Collaborate with engineers and digital transformation teams to gather requirements and ensure adoption
• Create technical docs, user guides, and training materials
• Lead or support digital tool projects with defined scope and schedules
• Continuously improve engineering processes and explore AI/LLM integration
