The Digital Technology Consultant position is a highly visible role within Voya’s Wealth Solutions (retirement) technology organization that supports the business development and relationship management teams across all market segments in demonstrating Voya’s customer-facing, digital technology properties.

The Digital Technology Consultant also works as a digital technology subject matter expert for internal business partners and external clients, collaborating with Voya’s digital product owners to stay informed about industry trends, market demands, regulatory changes, and provides guidance and thought leadership on the technology roadmap.

A successful Digital Technology Consultant is a high-performing professional passionate about digital technology in wealth solutions, comfortable in presentation and presales environments, a team player, client-driven, and accountable.

This role focuses on demonstrating digital solutions; no programming or software development is required.

This position allows 100% remote work from home or in any of our major office locations with a hybrid schedule.

The Contributions You'll Make

1. Manage, develop, and lead detailed demonstrations of Voya’s digital technology solutions for plan sponsor clients/prospects and intermediaries.
2. Serve as the highest-level digital technology expert at presentations, client review meetings, and industry conferences.
3. Educate and inform partners and clients on how to maximize value from Voya’s digital solutions, responding confidently to objections and questions.
4. Provide digital technology expertise during the sales process, interfacing with sales teams, clients, and partners.
5. Influence the technology roadmap by gathering product insights and customer feedback.
6. Support sales and relationship management teams to ensure successful deal closures.
7. Collaborate on the support and maintenance of demo websites and mobile solutions.
8. Assist with other digital technology tasks to support client engagements and best practices.

Minimum Knowledge & Experience

1. Bachelor’s Degree and proven experience in the retirement plan industry with related product knowledge.
2. Experience in presales, technical consulting, or solutions engineering within financial services.
3. Strong communication skills, including hosting presentations and demos virtually and in person.
4. Ability to manage technical meeting setups for in-person engagements.
5. Strategic thinking and basic technology platform understanding.
6. Self-motivated with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
7. Passionate about working in a sales support environment, providing digital expertise to sales teams.
8. Willingness to travel approximately 25% (up to 50% during peak times).
