Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a hands-on Digital Systems Engineer to join the Digital Ecosystem Team in the Marine Systems Division. The candidate will help define and implement Digital Engineering capabilities across programs, connecting architecture, requirements, 3D CAD, analysis models, and manufacturing data.

The role involves building an integrated MBSE environment, developing ecosystem architecture with Cameo EA, and collaborating across functions to enable the digital thread.

Qualifications

• MBSE system and hardware/software architecture defined in an MBSE tool (Cameo).
• Experience with SysML modeling languages and methodologies.
• Experience with requirements and interface management tools (DOORs, Jama, Polarion).
• Familiarity with drawing/documents such as Interface Control Documents/Specifications.
• Experience with model simulations (activity/sequence/state machine) and analytical tools (MATLAB/Simulink, Python).
• Familiarity with PLM tools (Teamcenter, ENOVIA, Windchill).
• Knowledge of configuration/change management processes and tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to map data and tool usage requirements.
• Understand processes to support development of the digital ecosystem.
• Develop a Digital Ecosystem Architecture roadmap and implementation plan.
• Develop the systems architecture using Cameo EA (behavioral, structural, analytical).
• Support implementation of Digital Ecosystem recommendations.
• Develop data models and metadata standards for data integration.
