Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking Digital Systems Engineers to define, develop, and implement MBSE-based capabilities across Marine Systems programs. You will help connect system architecture, requirements, CAD, analysis models, and data through the product lifecycle, collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams.

Role requires MBSE and SysML proficiency, experience with Cameo and PLM tools, and the ability to drive the digital thread across functions.

Qualifications

• MBSE system and hardware/software architecture definitions in Cameo or similar tool.
• Experience with SysML modeling languages and methodologies.
• Proficiency in requirements and interface management using DOORs, Jama, or Polarion.
• Familiarity with system drawings and interface documents.
• Experience with model simulations (activity/sequence/state machine) and analytical tools.
• Exposure to PLM tools and data management workflows.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to collaborate across teams.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to map data and tool usage requirements.
• Develop and maintain the digital ecosystem architecture roadmap.
• Define and implement model-based engineering capabilities across programs.
• Support tool integrations and interface definitions for the digital thread.
• Create and update data models and metadata standards for data integration.
• Contribute to engineering processes and lifecycle management activities.
