Job summary

Alta Planning + Design seeks a seasoned Web and Digital Studio Lead to guide the firm's digital portfolio. You will lead full‑stack development, data‑driven tools, and marketing technology solutions for client websites and applications.

The role combines technical leadership, project delivery, and strategic development, with hands‑on coding and mentoring of the Digital Studio team to grow Alta's digital capabilities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional full‑stack web development experience with leadership of complex web projects.
• Experience managing people and overseeing contractors or vendors.
• Proficient with VS Code, Git/GitHub, Docker, WSL or macOS, and CI/CD workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead full‑stack development of websites, web apps, dashboards, and data tools from spec to deployment.
• Define architecture including front‑end/back‑end, databases, APIs, data integration, hosting, security, and analytics.
• Build interactive data visualizations and GIS integrations into web products.
• Coordinate Python workflows and APIs for data processing and automation.
• Oversee integrations with CRMs and marketing platforms; ensure accessibility standards.
• Lead and mentor the Digital Studio team and manage contractors and budgets.
