Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or related field with 1–3 years' experience; master's preferred.
• Proven media relations ability: write media releases, pitch stories, organize events, and build media relationships.
• Strong on/off camera brand messaging and spokesperson potential.
• Ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging content.
• Knowledge of media monitoring software and Adobe Creative Cloud suite.
• Experience with email marketing (Constant Contact) and social platforms.
• Proficient video editing and ability to storyboard concepts with photographers.
• Ability to interview and capture compelling content for print and video.
• Familiarity with Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
• Strong MS Office skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and generates the lottery’s winner awareness.
• Develops positive media relations with key media influencers.
• Promotes lottery games through media releases across channels.
• Produces internal communications for employees and LinkedIn/intranet content.
• Supports PR by crafting content and messaging.
• Tracks media coverage and public perception of the lottery.
