Job summary

Marist University is seeking an Electronic Resources Librarian to manage all electronic content, including databases, ebooks and ejournals, and to ensure accessible, reliable access for the library community.

You will collaborate with colleagues in technical and research services, monitor renewals and licenses, gather usage metrics for accreditation, and provide budget support to the Head of Collection Management and Assessment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Library Science required.
• 1–3 years related experience.
• Experience with electronic resource management.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure discoverability of electronic content in the library catalog and discovery layer.
• Monitor renewal cycles, vendor negotiations, and budget monitoring.
• Gather and maintain e-resource usage and assessment metrics.
• Resolve access issues in a timely fashion.
• Support budgeting and resource ordering in absence of Head.
• Collaborate with Metadata/Resource Management and Digital Technologies teams.
