Job summary

U.S. Legal Support is hiring Digital Reporters to record and manage the official audio record of legal proceedings such as depositions and hearings. Training and certification support are provided to set you up for long-term success.

You will operate audio recording equipment for in-person and remote proceedings, prepare audio files and exhibits for transcription, and handling administrative tasks when not on proceedings. A Notary Commission and AAERT certification are supported in the program.

Qualifications

• Must be tech-savvy and comfortable with computers and audio equipment.
• Typing speed of 55+ WPM required (typing test).
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to obtain a State Notary Commission (assistance provided).
• AAERT certification training provided prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Record and manage the official audio record of legal proceedings.
• Transport, set up, and operate audio recording equipment for in-person and remote sessions.
• Prepare audio files and exhibits for transcription after each proceeding.
• Provide administrative support when not assigned to proceedings.
