Job summary

U.S. Legal Support, Inc. is hiring Digital Reporters to record and manage the official audio record of legal proceedings, including depositions and hearings. No prior experience required; comprehensive training and certification support are provided to launch long-term success.

You will work with audio technology to capture, organize, and prepare the proceedings for transcription, with guidance for obtaining a State Notary Commission and completion of Digital Reporter training before start date.

Qualifications

• Must be tech-savvy and comfortable with computers, software and audio equipment.
• Typing speed of 55+ WPM required (typing test).
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to obtain State Notary Commission (assistance provided; existing Notary a plus).
• Training and certification provided prior to start date (AAERT).

Responsibilities

• Participate in depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings while administering oaths and ensuring a clear, accurate record.
• Transport, set up, and operate computer and audio recording equipment for in-person and remote proceedings.
• Prepare audio files, exhibits, and related materials for transcription following each proceeding.
• Perform administrative and support tasks when not assigned to legal proceedings.
