Job summary

U.S. Legal Support invites applications for a Digital Reporter – Legal Proceedings. The role involves recording the official audio record of legal proceedings using digital audio technology, with structured training provided.

Location is hybrid in Florida with client-site work; schedule Monday–Friday 8:30 AM–5:30 PM, including in-person and remote proceedings.

You will set up equipment, manage files for transcription, and develop skills in notary, typing, and AAERT certification.

Qualifications

• Tech-Savvy with computers, software and audio equipment.
• Typing speed of at least 55 WPM; typing test required.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to obtain State Notary Commission (assistance provided).
• AAERT certification: training and certification provided.

Responsibilities

• Participate in depositions and hearings to maintain a clear, accurate official record.
• Transport, set up, and operate recording equipment for in-person and remote proceedings.
• Prepare audio files, exhibits, and related materials for transcription after proceedings.
