Job summary

University of New Orleans is seeking a results-driven Project Manager to lead IT and data projects in the Digital Division. You will oversee system implementations, data migrations, and platform modernization while coordinating cross-functional teams and vendors.

You will track federal/state requirements, ensure data quality, and provide executive-level status reports and risk analyses. The role requires strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• Minimum 4 years professional experience in managing projects.
• Minimum 2 years professional experience with project management software such as Microsoft Project, Microsoft Project Server or Microsoft SharePoint, JIRA.
• Experience presenting information to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages IT and data projects for the Digital Division.
• Tracks CMS and interoperability requirements against existing builds.
• Coordinates data validation for data warehouse and reporting platforms.
• Manages releases, environment scheduling, and production deployment.
• Prepares status reports, risk assessments, and decision documents for leadership.
• Develops project roadmaps and coordinates Epics/Enhancements per guidance.
• Contributes memos for management and elected officials as needed.
• Consults with CMS, vendors, and legal counsel on regulations.
• Ensures project documents are complete and stored properly.
