Job summary

Apex Group is seeking a Digital Product Scrum Master to facilitate Agile delivery across digital product teams, enabling cross-functional collaboration and delivery of business value. You will coach teams, remove blockers, and align product, technology, and business stakeholders to the roadmap.

The role emphasizes servant leadership, ongoing process improvement, and governance to scale Agile practices across multiple teams and products within a global organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent certification preferred.
• Agile, Lean, or project delivery certifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, backlog refinement).
• Coach teams on Agile principles and Scrum practices to improve delivery.
• Support Product Owners in backlog prioritization aligned to objectives.
• Drive predictable delivery of product enhancements and strategic initiatives.
• Engage with Product Owners, Tech Leads, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
• Track and report delivery metrics and promote continuous improvement.

Digital Product Scrum Master Description

The Digital Product Scrum Master is responsible for facilitating Agile delivery across digital product teams, ensuring the effective execution of product roadmaps, continuous improvement of team performance, and successful delivery of business value. The role serves as a servant leader, coach, and facilitator, enabling cross-functional teams to adopt Agile best practices while removing impediments and fostering collaboration across Product, Technology, Data, and business stakeholders.

Agile Delivery & Team Leadership

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
• Coach teams on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Support Product Owners in maintaining and prioritizing product backlogs aligned to business objectives.
• Foster high-performing, self-organizing teams focused on delivering customer and business value.

Delivery Management

• Monitor sprint progress, delivery risks, dependencies, and team capacity.
• Remove blockers and facilitate resolution of issues impacting delivery timelines.
• Drive predictable and efficient delivery of product enhancements and strategic initiatives.
• Ensure alignment between product, technology, and business teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Partner with Product Owners, Technology Leads, and business stakeholders to support successful product delivery.
• Provide transparency on progress, risks, dependencies, and delivery outcomes.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across global teams and stakeholders.

Agile Governance & Continuous Improvement

• Track and report Agile delivery metrics, including velocity, cycle time, sprint predictability, and team performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve Agile maturity, team effectiveness, and delivery efficiency.
• Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Support scaling Agile practices across multiple teams and products where required.

Change & Transformation Support

• Champion Agile ways of working across the organization.
• Support digital transformation initiatives through effective delivery management and change adoption.
• Contribute to the development of Agile standards, frameworks, and best practices.
