Job summary

Apex Group is seeking a Digital Product Data Analyst to drive product analytics and insights across digital finance platforms. You will partner with Product Owners, Finance, Technology, and stakeholders to enable data-driven decisions and optimize product performance.

Ideal candidates have 3-7 years in data analytics or BI, strong SQL, Power BI/Tableau, and a passion for translating complex data into actionable recommendations. This is a US-based role with a four days in office requirement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in data/finance related field; certifications in analytics/tools desirable.
  • 3-7 years of experience in data analytics, product analytics, BI or related fields.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with large datasets.
  • Experience supporting digital products or platforms; data visualization proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze product usage and customer behavior to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Develop KPIs and dashboards to measure adoption, engagement and business value.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to define measurement frameworks and ROI.
  • Produce regular management reporting and ad hoc analyses for priorities.
  • Promote best practices in data viz, governance, and self-service reporting.

Digital Product Data Analyst Description

The Digital Product Data Analyst is responsible for leveraging data and analytics to drive product performance, user adoption, and business outcomes across digital finance products and platforms. The role partners with Product Owners, Finance, Technology, and Business stakeholders to generate actionable insights, measure product success, and support data-driven decision-making throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Monitor product performance and proactively recommend enhancements.
Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Collect, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources to support product strategy and decision-making.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting environments.
  • Produce regular management reporting and ad hoc analysis to support business priorities.
  • Translate complex data findings into clear recommendations for non-technical audiences.
Product & Business Partnership
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to define measurement frameworks for new products, features, and releases.
  • Support prioritization decisions through data-driven insights and business case analysis.
  • Partner with Finance and Technology teams to evaluate product performance and return on investment.
  • Contribute to product roadmaps by identifying user needs and improvement opportunities.
Data Governance & Continuous Improvement
  • Support data governance, quality, and reporting standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting automation and analytical capabilities.
  • Promote best practices in data visualization, analytics, and performance measurement.
  • Assist in the development of self-service reporting solution.
Skills Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Economics, Business, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or related discipline.
  • Relevant certifications in Analytics, Data Visualization, Power BI, Tableau, or SQL desirable.
  • 3-7 years of experience in Data Analytics, Product Analytics, Business Intelligence, Finance Analytics, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with experience working with large datasets.
  • Experience supporting digital products, technology platforms, or transformation initiatives.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar reporting platforms.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and data analysis techniques.
  • Understanding of Agile product development environments preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
