Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine seeks a Digital Product Owner for Chromatography Data Systems (CDS) to lead the end-to-end CDS landscape across Empower, OpenLab CDS and Chromeleon within our development laboratories.

You will connect scientific workflows with trusted data, align with DOS and System Architects, and guide global stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance, data integrity, and measurable business value through data-enabled decisions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Pharma or related sciences/engineering disciplines.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or related sectors.
Hands-on experience with Empower, Openlab CDS, or Chromeleon is preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations; SDLC familiarity preferred.
Experience with FAIR data principles and digital transformation projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

Design & Implement Software Solutions with business leaders, data architects and IT, defining CDS’ future state.
Regulatory, Audit & SOP Management Support to ensure compliance, data integrity, and operational excellence.
Stakeholder Alignment with TDS to prioritize enhancements and adoption of data solutions.
Data Lifecycle Management from collection to analysis adhering to FAIR principles.
Collaborate with Scientific Experts to guide feature design and data integration.
Vendor Management with lab, manufacturing, and data analytics system providers.
Troubleshooting & Continuous Improvement of system and data processes.
Cross-Functional Leadership to drive adoption and value realization of CDS across sites.
