Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Product Manager to drive ecommerce initiatives and align product strategy with business goals. You will collaborate with business owners, engineering, and partners to refine the backlog, write user stories, and define release scope.

The role requires Agile experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position offers weekly pay, benefits, and a path to impact how families save on what matters.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in a product role or requirements intake role.
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies and tools; experience writing user stories or the ability and desire to learn quickly.
• Experience with ecommerce tools and website design a plus, especially WebSphere Commerce.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to develop productive working relationships with both technical and non-technical partners.
• Strong understanding of customer needs and business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Understand key business objectives and strategy of the product.
• Work with business owners to ensure that they are engaged and supportive of direction.
• Work with third party partners to coordinate integration and deliverables related to website.
• Maintain and refine backlog.
• Create user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure stories clearly communicate customer/stakeholder needs to the engineering team; work with team to clarify stories as necessary.
• Understand and support inter-team dependencies, as applicable.
• Partner with development team to set and communicate release date and scope.
• Lead POD scrum meetings.
• A strong communicator.
• Comfortable juggling multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
• You are scrappy and pragmatic while solving problems.
