Openwork is seeking a detail oriented Digital Printing Technician to join our production team in Houston. You will operate large format printers, prepare artwork, calibrate color, and maintain equipment to deliver high quality graphics across industries. Collaboration with designers and sales staff will ensure job specs are met.

The role requires strong organization, good time management, and the ability to work overtime when needed in a fast paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with digital printing equipment and large format printing.
• Strong knowledge of print production processes and finishing techniques.
• Proficiency with graphic design software and file preparation.
• Familiarity with RIP software (Onyx, Fiery, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Operate digital large format printers and finishing equipment.
• Prepare artwork and print files with correct sizing and color profiles.
• Calibrate color and perform routine machine maintenance.
• Inspect finished materials for accuracy and defects.
• Manage print queues and prioritize based on deadlines.
• Ensure proper material handling and track inventory.
