Job summary

The Imagine Group in Minnesota is seeking an Operator, Digital Press to manage digital printing equipment including Indigo, Wide Format, Dye Sublimation, Onset, Durst, Vutek, Spyder.

The role supports production to meet customer specs, maintains quality, and documents labor and materials while adhering to safety procedures. Shift from 6:00pm to 6:00am, rotating, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Proficient with Mac and Windows operating systems.
• Preferred: print industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate digital print equipment and the software necessary for print operations.
• Complete jobs according to customer specifications in a timely and accurate manner.
• Monitor production output throughout the run for quality.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal printing conditions.
• Ensure materials for the job are in stock and available for production.
• Properly document production information to account for all labor and materials consumed on a job.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Properly execute pressroom Safety Procedures
• Act as a resource to Apprentice and Feeder
• Troubleshoot with the help of the Lead Operator
• Work overtime as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
