Mellady Direct in Valencia, CA is seeking a Digital Press Operator & Cutter to join our fast-paced production team. You will set up and operate Ricoh digital presses, run VDP jobs, perform routine maintenance, and trim materials to final size.

You will also be cross-trained on additional equipment and help maintain a smooth workflow across the shop, delivering high-quality output on tight deadlines.

Qualifikationen

• Experience operating Ricoh or other digital presses is preferred.
• Strong understanding of color management and print quality control.
• Experience with industrial paper cutters or bindery equipment is a plus.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Digital Press Operator & Cutter to join our fast-paced production team. This role is ideal for someone who is committed to quality, enjoys working with technology, and is eager to grow their skillset across multiple types of equipment. You’ll set up and operate Ricoh digital presses, run variable data jobs, perform routine maintenance, and accurately trim materials to final size. You will also be cross-trained on additional production equipment and play a key role in supporting smooth workflow throughout the shop.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Press Operation

• Set up and operate Ricoh digital presses for high-volume production.


• Monitor output and perform necessary color calibration and and adjustments.


• Review job tickets and confirm all specifications before running jobs.


• Set up and run variable data printing (VDP) jobs with accuracy and attention to detail.

Cutting & Finishing

• Operate industrial paper cutters to trim materials to final size.
