Job summary

RRD in Wisconsin is hiring for a 3rd shift press operator. You will set up, operate, adjust, and maintain multiple press types, with a rotating schedule (3 days one week, 4 the next) and every-other-week weekend work.

Starting pay is $20.00–$26.00 per hour, plus a $3/hr shift premium. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, paid time off, 401(k) with match, life insurance, tuition assistance, and other support.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of offset printing procedures, materials, specs, and safety requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret job specs and determine press usage and materials.
• Skill to set up and adjust controls, and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Skill in routine maintenance and minor repairs to equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain a number of press equipment.
• Perform make-ready tasks such as hanging plates, installing cylinders, check image alignment.
• Make color corrections and press adjustments to meet quality specs.
• Clean, lubricate, maintain press, and replace worn parts as required.
• Perform periodic maintenance recommended by the manufacturer.
