Job summary

At Vomela our greatest asset is our people. We are seeking a Digital Press Operator on our 3rd shift in Michigan to drive high‑quality large format printing.

You will operate large format digital presses, follow schedules, and help ensure on-time delivery and top-quality output. Ideal candidates bring experience with large format printers, strong color management knowledge, and an ability to read and interpret print specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a digital press operator, preferably with large format printers.
• Strong knowledge of digital printing processes and equipment.
• Familiarity with color management techniques and print quality assurance.
• Ability to read and interpret print specifications and technical documents.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality assurance.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot complex machinery in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate large format digital printing presses while adhering to production schedules.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Review job specifications and make necessary adjustments to color profiles, resolutions, and layouts before printing.
• Set up and configure machines for different substrates and print jobs.
• Monitor print quality throughout the printing process and make real-time adjustments as necessary.
• Ensure all printed materials meet quality standards and customer specifications before delivery.
• Keep accurate records of production runs, material usage, and any issues encountered during the printing process.
• Other duties as assigned.

Shift: 3rd Shift (12am-8am), with training on first shift

Hourly Rate- $17ph-$20ph + 0.50 shift differential

Job Summary:

Ensuring internal and external customer expectations of turn-around and quality are met in a fast-paced digital print environment.
