Job summary

Vomela, a full-service visual communications company, is seeking a digital press operator for the 3rd shift (12am–8am) with training on first shift. You will operate large format digital printing presses, meet production schedules, and help ensure quality and on-time delivery.

You should have a high school diploma or equivalent and proven experience with large format printers, color management, and print quality assurance.

Qualifications

• Experience operating large format digital presses and meeting production timelines.
• Solid understanding of color management and print QC processes.
• Ability to read and interpret print specs and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Operate large format digital printing presses per schedule.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment.
• Adjust color profiles, resolutions and layouts before printing.
• Set up and configure machines for various substrates and jobs.
• Monitor print quality and document production records.

Shift: 3rd Shift (12am-8am), with training on first shift

Hourly Rate- $17ph-$20ph + 0.50 shift differential

Job Summary:

Ensuring internal and external customer expectations of turn-around and quality are met in a fast-paced digital print environment.

What You'll Do:

• Operate large format digital printing presses while adhering to production schedules.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Review job specifications and make necessary adjustments to color profiles, resolutions, and layouts before printing.
• Set up and configure machines for different substrates and print jobs.
• Monitor print quality throughout the printing process and make real-time adjustments as necessary.
• Ensure all printed materials meet quality standards and customer specifications before delivery.
• Keep accurate records of production runs, material usage, and any issues encountered during the printing process.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring...

• Proven experience as a digital press operator, preferably with large format printers.
• Strong technical knowledge of digital printing processes and equipment.
• Familiarity with color management techniques and print quality assurance.
• Ability to read and interpret print specifications and technical documents.

• Ability to operate and troubleshoot complex machinery in a fast-paced environment.
