Job summary

Vomela Commercial Group in Michigan seeks a 2nd shift Digital Press Operator to support high-volume, fast-paced print projects. You will operate large format presses, monitor color accuracy, and adjust settings to meet job specs and deadlines.

You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, document production runs, and collaborate with team members to ensure top-quality output for global and local brands. Training on first shift is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience as a digital press operator with large format printers preferred.
• Strong knowledge of digital printing processes and color management.
• Ability to read and interpret print specs and technical documents.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

Job Summary
Ensuring internal and external customer expectations of turn-around and quality are met in a fast-paced digital print environment.
What You'll Do

• Operate large format digital printing presses while adhering to production schedules.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Review job specifications and make necessary adjustments to color profiles, resolutions, and layouts before printing.
• Set up and configure machines for different substrates and print jobs.
• Monitor print quality throughout the printing process and make real-time adjustments as necessary.
• Ensure all printed materials meet quality standards and customer specifications before delivery.
• Keep accurate records of production runs, material usage, and any issues encountered during the printing process.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent .
• Proven experience as a digital press operator, preferably with large format printers.
• Strong technical knowledge of digital printing processes and equipment.
• Familiarity with color management techniques and print quality assurance.
• Ability to read and interpret print specifications and technical documents.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality assurance.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot complex machinery in a fast-paced environment.
