Job summary

ARC Document Solutions seeks a Digital Pre-Press Operator to join a fast-paced team. Responsibilities include setting up files in pre-press, correcting client files, designing print collateral, ensuring quality control, and following detailed instructions.

Must be organized, communicative, reliable, and able to work overtime as needed. Minimum 2 years in large-format digital printing; proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite; knowledge of Onyx/Caldera RIPs is a plus; strong math skills; ability to

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in a large format digital printing environment.
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite and design software.
• Knowledge of large and small format printing, finishing processes and materials.
• Understanding of project scope and cross-trade coordination.
• Experience with RIP software Onyx or Caldera is a plus.
• Strong math skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to build relationships with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Setup files in the pre-press environment.
• Make corrections to existing client files.
• Design print collateral as needed.
• Perform proofing and quality checks on each job.
• Follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Maintain a safe, clean and orderly work area.
• Work overtime and non-traditional hours as required.
• Report to work as scheduled to support business operations.
