Job Description:

TITLE: Digital Portfolio Manager


EMPLOYER: Airbus Americas, Inc.


DUTIES: Ensure delivery of value to business with industry best practice tools, methods, and processes, while supporting and guiding project managers. Incorporate digital transformation and collaborate with Final Assembly Line (FAL) stakeholders, gathering requirements IM Projects involving all stakeholders.
Preparing the roadmap considering overall FAL operations, including ramping-
up and introduction of complex commercial civil aircraft. Prepare budget needs, monitor project progress, and ensure effective utilization in production. Taking ownership of the CAPEX and OPEX budget associated with the projects.

LOCATION: Mobile, AL


REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field and 5 years in any job title involving experience in manufacturing engineering or project management in aeronautical setting for manufacture of commercial civil aircraft. In lieu of degree as stated, employer will accept 2 additional years in any job title involving experience in manufacturing engineering or project management in aeronautical setting for manufacture of commercial civil
aircraft. Prior experience must also include the following: Working in assembly
and manufacturing engineering for production and assembly of commercial
civil aircraft; working in a multinational team matrix environment, including global teams around the world in Finance, Production, Information Management, Legal Supply Chain and Manufacturing; working with financial processes; demonstrating operational experience in the implementation and optimization of aeronautical industry including conception phase of commercial aircraft manufacturing and assembly and implementation and production processes; and working on SAP software systems for commercial aircraft manufacturing and assembly.

Up to 20% domestic and international travel required for business meetings
and training.
