Job summary

The Newcastle Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust seeks a HCPC-registered Biomedical Scientist to join its pathology digital transformation as a Pathology Digital System Specialist. You will help design, develop and implement Clinisys LIMS, applying Cellular Pathology expertise to improve workflows and patient care.

The role is a 24-month fixed-term post, offering opportunities for service improvement projects, with secondment and flexible hours considered and a supportive multidisciplinary team to

Qualifications

Essential criteria include: IBMS Approved BSc (Hons) or equivalent.
State Registration (HCPC).
Practice as a registered Biomedical Scientist within their pathology discipline.
Evidence of recent continuing professional development.

Responsibilities

Contribute to design, testing, implementation and integration of Clinisys LIMS and digital solutions.
Develop safe, practical and fit-for-purpose digital workflows.
Work in a multidisciplinary team to streamline processes and support high-quality patient care.
Support regional collaboration and training during implementation.
