Digital Media Strategist

Full Time Little Rock, AR, US

16 days ago Requisition ID: 1017

The Digital Strategy team serves as the bridge between client goals and campaign execution and reports directly to the Digital Manager.

Working closely with our Account Management team, you'll receive client objectives, priorities, budgets, and business insights, then translate those inputs into actionable digital marketing strategies. Rather than creating content or managing day-to-day client communication, your focus will be on determining the best approach to achieve each client's goals through paid search, paid social, and other digital advertising channels.

You will collaborate with several teams throughout the process:

Account Management gathers client feedback, requests, budgets, goals, and business priorities.

Creative produces the ad copy, imagery, video, and other assets needed to bring campaigns to life.

Project Management keeps projects moving efficiently and ensures deliverables stay on schedule.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, analyzing performance data, identifying strategic opportunities, and turning business objectives into measurable marketing results. While you will work closely with creative and account teams, this is a strategy and performance-focused position rather than a content creation or design role.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute digital marketing strategies across channels including paid search (SEM) and paid social.

Manage campaign implementation, budgeting, optimization, and performance monitoring across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, Snapchat, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, and other relevant channels.

Conduct research and analysis of audience behavior, industry trends, market conditions, and competitive activity to inform strategic recommendations.

Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance, translating data into actionable insights and optimization opportunities.

Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to gather business objectives, marketing priorities, budget considerations, and market insights, translating those inputs into effective digital marketing strategies and media recommendations

Develop campaign recommendations, audience strategies, media plans, and testing roadmaps to improve performance and maximize return on investment.

Create client-facing reports, presentations, and performance analyses that communicate results, key insights, and recommended next steps.

Stay informed on emerging digital marketing trends, platform updates, and industry best practices to identify new opportunities for clients.

Support new business initiatives through research, strategy development, media recommendations, and proposal preparation.

Maintain strong project management practices to ensure campaigns, deliverables, and reporting are completed accurately and on schedule.

Job Specifications/Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications, coursework, or hands-on experience in digital marketing are a plus.

Basic understanding of digital marketing, including paid search, paid social, SEM, SEO, campaign performance, and analytics.

Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta/Facebook Ads, and social media management tools.

Proficiency with standard office and project management tools such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Monday.com.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret performance data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills , with the ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment.

Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills , with the ability to explain complex digital concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Professional and collaborative approach to working with clients, internal teams, and external partners.
