Job summary

D2 Government Solutions is seeking a Digital Media Specialist to support Navy Housing communications for Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC). You will plan and produce content, monitor performance, and prepare analytics/reporting products for Government review, with periodic travel to CNIC HQ, regions, or installations as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience producing and managing multi-platform digital content (graphics, video, written content, outreach materials).
• Must be able to provide portfolio or work samples showing previously created content.
• Working knowledge of social media analytics and the ability to convert data into clear reporting and recommendations.
• Understanding of digital accessibility standards and best practices for public-facing content.
• Strong writing skills, attention to detail, and ability to work through review/approval cycles.
• Able to manage multiple deadlines and coordinate with a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

• Support management of Navy Housing social channels and digital communications while maintaining brand consistency.
• Build and maintain a content calendar; support quarterly and annual communications planning through Government review cycles.
• Draft posts and customer-facing messaging; propose responses to routine, factual inquiries using approved guidance.
• Create and edit digital content (graphics, short videos, articles/blog-style content, and outreach materials).
• Monitor and summarize engagement and performance results; prepare recurring analytics reports and recommendations.
• Research trends and propose improvements that align to program goals and accessibility expectations.
