Job summary

A summer arts camp located in Massachusetts is seeking an enthusiastic individual passionate about teaching art to children. The role involves instructing 3-5 classes daily and collaborating with experienced staff. Responsibilities

  • Teach art classes to campers, 3-5 classes a day.
  • Collaborate with the Art Director and team of instructors.
  • Assist campers in preparing for end-of-session showcases.
  • When not teaching, you’ll be assigned to an age group of girls to look after and care for.
  • Opportunities to work on your own craft (sit in on classes during time-off, etc.)

EXPERIENCE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Skills You’ll Need:

  • Prior experience teaching art to youth or working with children in another capacity
  • Notable prior personal fine arts training with a variety of media
  • Organization and communication skills

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Teaching art classes to campers – between 3-5 classes a day
  • Collaborate with our experienced Art Director and a team of other art instructors
