Job description

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist who really thrives on data-driven decision-making and has a passion for creating high-performing campaigns that drive measurable results.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading fitness-focused digital marketing agency dedicated to helping gyms and fitness studios grow their membership base and brand awareness through cutting-edge digital strategies.

The Role:

● Salary: £30-35,000 Base + OTE

● Working Hours: 40 hours p/w (minimum)

● Leave: 25 Days per annum (plus bank holidays).

● Fully Remote

The Role...

As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will play a critical role in generating high-quality leads and increasing brand visibility for our fitness clients. Your expertise in paid advertising and performance marketing will help drive new memberships and client retention through strategic campaigns on Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, and other digital platforms.

You will work closely with the team to develop and execute data-driven campaigns that deliver on key performance metrics such as lead acquisition, membership sign-ups, and brand engagement.


Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Management & Optimisation
  • Plan, execute, and optimise paid digital marketing campaigns across Google Ads, Meta (Facebook & Instagram) Ads, and other social media channels.
  • Monitor campaign performance daily, leveraging Google Analytics, CRM data, and ad platform insights to refine strategies and maximise ROI.
  • Conduct A/B testing on creative, ad copy, and landing pages to improve conversion rates.
  • Manage advertising budgets efficiently to drive maximum lead generation and acquisition.
Data Analysis & Insights
  • Track and analyse campaign performance to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare reports on key metrics, including CPL (Cost Per Lead), CPA (Cost Per Acquisition), ROAS (Return on Ad Spend), and conversion rates.
  • Use insights to optimise future campaigns and improve overall performance.
Lead Generation & Membership Growth
  • Develop highly targeted campaigns that drive gym and fitness studio memberships.
  • Implement retargeting strategies to nurture leads and boost conversion rates.
  • Work closely with clients to align marketing strategies with their growth objectives.
Creative & Content Collaboration
  • Partner with the creative team to develop high-converting ad creatives and landing pages.
  • Optimise ad messaging to resonate with specific fitness demographics and audiences.
  • Support local and national marketing campaigns to enhance brand awareness.
Market Research & Trends
  • Stay ahead of digital marketing trends, ad platform updates, and fitness industry insights.
  • Monitor competitors' performance marketing strategies to refine our approach.
  • Test and implement innovative growth-hacking tactics to keep our campaigns competitive.

The Person...

We’re looking for a data-driven digital marketer with a passion for fitness and expertise in performance marketing.

Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience in paid media and performance marketing (fitness, health, or wellness industry experience is a plus).
  • Hands-on experience managing campaigns across Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram Ads, TikTok, and other digital platforms - minimum of 1-2 years experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Google Analytics, CRM tools, and Excel for performance tracking.
  • Extremely personable, with a love of creating close client relationships.
  • A results-driven mindset with the ability to optimise campaigns based on data and key metrics.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns and clients simultaneously.
  • A passion for fitness, health and wellness
  • Familiarity with fitness industry trends and audience targeting strategies.
