Job summary

Zero Energy Australia is a Melbourne-based home energy company expanding its digital team. We are seeking a hands-on digital executive to manage online presence, SEO, Google Ads, WordPress, and Zoho admin from a work-from-home setup with our marketing lead in Melbourne.

You will optimize site health, plan content, manage AI-assisted visibility, handle Google Business Profile, and track results using GA4 and Search Console.

Qualifications

2+ years in digital marketing with hands-on SEO and Google Ads experience.
Working knowledge of WordPress: editing pages, managing plugins, basic troubleshooting.
Solid grasp of digital marketing basics: SEO, paid ads, social media and email.
Confident using Canva for social media and ad graphics.
Familiar with Google Search Console and GA4.
Excellent spoken and written English; you will work every day with an Australian team.

Responsibilities

Keep our website healthy for Google: fix technical issues, update page titles and descriptions, and add structured data.
Research keywords and plan blogs and service pages around real customer questions.
Shape content so AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews find and cite us.
Manage our Google Business Profile: weekly posts, photos, services and review replies.
Track results in Google Search Console, GA4 and our reporting dashboard.
Set up, monitor and improve Google Ads Search campaigns with accurate conversion tracking.
Support our Meta (Facebook and Instagram) campaigns and reporting.
Create social posts, banners and ad creatives in Canva, in line with our brand.
Prepare a short weekly performance report.
Update pages, plugins and themes on our WordPress site and keep regular backups.
Help keep the website secure: user access, malware checks and Cloudflare settings.
Look after everyday IT basics: email and calendar setup, shared drives, video calls and simple troubleshooting.
Assist with Zoho CRM, Zoho Recruit and other Zoho One apps: data entry, updates, reports and simple automations.
Manage the marketing lead's calendar: book and reschedule meetings, send invites and reminders.
Handle small, repeatable tasks accurately and on time, such as data updates, follow-ups and file organisation.

Zero Energy Australia is a Melbourne-based home energy company. We help Victorian households and businesses cut their energy bills with government-rebated solar, batteries, heat pumps, air conditioning, hot water systems and EV chargers. Our operations team in Noida supports the Australian market, and we are now growing our digital team.

We are looking for a hands-on, all-round digital executive to look after how Zero Energy shows up online: on Google, in AI tools such as ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews, and through our ads. You will keep our website running smoothly and help our leadership stay organised. This is a work-from-home role that mixes marketing projects with regular, repeatable support tasks, working directly with our marketing lead in Melbourne.
