We’re looking for a strategic, hands-on Digital Marketing Manager to lead and scale our in-house marketing team. As part of a fast-growing web design agency, you’ll oversee the execution of high-impact digital strategies that elevate our clients’ visibility, messaging, and conversions.
You’ll manage a team of writers, SEO specialists, and digital marketers to deliver consistent results across core service areas including website copywriting and SEO. Over time, you’ll also play a key role in expanding our offerings into social content, email marketing, and paid advertising. This is a leadership role that combines project oversight, team mentorship, and client-facing strategy.
Team & Project Oversight
- Lead and manage a team of 4 digital marketing professionals across content and SEO
- Oversee workload allocation, timelines, and deliverables for multiple concurrent client projects
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the marketing function within the agency
Strategy & Execution
- Develop integrated content and SEO strategies tailored to client goals and industry nuances
- Ensure alignment between web copy, SEO targets, and overall site strategy
- Translate brand and business goals into clear digital marketing plans
- Monitor performance and recommend iterative improvements
Quality Control & Optimization
- Review and approve client-facing copy and SEO deliverables to ensure they meet high standards
- Identify process bottlenecks and lead improvements to streamline delivery
- Report on KPIs, wins, and areas of opportunity across marketing efforts
Client & Cross-Team Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with account managers, designers, and developers to ensure marketing strategies are effectively integrated into web builds
- Present marketing strategy and results to clients in a clear, confident, and consultative manner
Future Growth & Expansion
- Help define our marketing services roadmap (social, email, PPC, etc.)
- Support hiring, onboarding, and development of additional team members as the department scales
- What We’re Looking For
Need To Have's
- 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 1 year in a managerial or team lead role
- Proven experience with SEO strategy, on-page optimization, and content planning
- Strong understanding of B2B website messaging and user-centric copywriting
- Exceptional organizational skills and comfort managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Confident communicator with strong presentation and client-facing skills
- Experience working in or with a creative/web agency environment
- Familiarity with project management tools like ClickUp, Asana, or similar
- Comfort navigating tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush/Ahrefs, and Google Search Console
Nice To Haves
- Hands-on experience with social media strategy and organic content creation (especially LinkedIn)
- Familiarity with email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor, ConvertKit)
- Understanding of paid advertising (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads)
- Background in technical SEO or CRO
- Experience scaling a team or building out a new service line within an agency
- A strong portfolio or case studies demonstrating measurable results from past campaigns
