Job summary

FGCU GIDDI seeks a Communications & Marketing Student Intern to assist the Education Coordinator and Program Support Specialist. This role provides hands-on experience in digital marketing, content creation, event promotion, and community engagement within a dynamic environment dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled as a student in an undergraduate program in Communications or Marketing.
Proficient with various social media platforms.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

Digital Marketing & Social Media: assist in campaigns across Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and Instagram.
Content Creation: design and edit marketing materials and promotional assets.
Event Support & Community Outreach: aid in planning, promoting, and executing events and workshops.
Administrative & Project Support: meet weekly with supervisors and provide administrative support.
Other Duties: perform other job-related duties as assigned.
