Job description

About DrFirst

For 25 years, DrFirst has empowered providers and patients to achieve better health through intelligent medication management. We improve healthcare workflows and help patients start and stay on therapy with end-to-end solutions that enhance prescription access, affordability, and adherence. Our solutions help 100 million patients a year and are used by more than 420,000 prescribers, 71,000 pharmacies, 270 EHRs and health information systems, and over 2,000 hospitals in the U.S. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a successful Healthcare IT company experiencing significant growth. Here you will get to work with some of the smartest and most interesting people around, solving unique and complex challenges in healthcare on a scale matched by few companies. If you get excited about stretching yourself in new ways, developing yourself to your fullest potential, and care about working with smart colleagues, we want to talk to you!

Position Overview

The Digital Marketing Campaign Specialist owns the planning, project management, and execution of digital first marketing campaigns across ABM, email, paid digital advertising, third party media, direct mail, and events. You drive lead generation and conversion, and you apply AI and marketing automation to move faster across planning, content development, and reporting.

As part of the Commercial Performance Team, you work cross functionally with marketing, product, sales, and external partner agencies to create, execute, and monitor integrated marketing campaigns. Ownership grows over time as you continuously optimize performance and spend.

The ideal candidate brings positive energy, works comfortably without close supervision, asks good questions, and wants hands‑on campaign execution in a fast paced, collaborative environment with a direct line to healthcare impact.

Your goals in this role

  • Project manage each campaign end to end, delivering on time and on budget across creative, digital, and external partner teams.

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns by market segment to win new customers and to upsell and retain current customers.

  • Coordinate stakeholders so campaigns launch on schedule, stay within budget, and the team has a positive working experience.

  • Partner with the digital team on reporting, campaign insight, optimization, and pacing toward goals.

Who Will Love This Job

  • Creative and willing: You look for new channels to test and new ways to use existing channels. Being wrong does not bother you when it means learning and teaching others. You have a track record of taking initiative.

  • Data driven: You bring strong analytical skills to your decisions. You know campaign optimization and management, and you report performance metrics with confidence.

  • Multi tasker: You enjoy running several concurrent campaigns with overlapping deadlines while holding onto the details.

  • Self starter and collaborator: You bring a team oriented attitude, you deliver reliably, and you want to grow. You stay organized across multiple projects with guidance from your manager, and you work well with internal and external stakeholders to position DrFirst competitively.

  • Digitally fluent and AI forward: You already use AI, marketing automation, and digital platforms in your daily work, and you stay curious about how digital channels and AI tools perform together.

If you prepare early and leave little to chance, this role fits you.

What you will work on

Campaign Planning

  • Support campaign goals and objectives aligned to broader organizational goals.

  • Build your own understanding of business priorities, target audiences, the competitor set, and the value DrFirst delivers to clients.

  • Expand and maintain business unit target lists in real time.

  • Develop and execute digital campaign tactics across channels including digital advertising, social, email, and events.

  • Support campaign budget tracking and maintain timelines.

Campaign Project Management and Execution

  • Serve as project manager for each campaign, tracking milestones, dependencies, budget, and production and distribution timelines to deliver on time and in budget.

  • Develop and implement campaign activities with support from your manager, including content creation for ads, emails, and landing pages, media buying, and event management, while keeping the team aligned and informed.

  • Manage and collaborate with internal teams across design, copywriting, and production, and with external vendors including agencies and media partners.

  • Hold quality control and brand consistency across every campaign element.

Campaign Optimization and Measurement

  • Track campaign performance through analytics and reporting tools.

  • Analyze data to identify improvement areas and optimize campaign tactics in real time.

  • Generate reports and insights for stakeholders.

  • Ability to take a strategic vision and translate it into tactical execution plans.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to run multiple workstreams under the guidance of a manager.

  • Working knowledge of project management tools. ClickUp is a plus.

  • Ability to move forward with incomplete information using an analytical mindset and quantitative aptitude.
