We are looking for someone passionate about online community, developer engagement, content creation, digital marketing, and or Website design. As a Digital Marketing Associate, you can expect to work on a small team of technical Marketing staff, interact with key business stakeholders, and own the prioritized backlog to ensure your team delivers high-quality applications and experiences with each iteration.
This role is based at our headquarters in McLean, Virginia. Appian was built on a culture of in-person collaboration, which we believe is a key driver of our mission to be the best. Key Responsibilities:
The Digital Marketing Associate will interact with various technical functions within Marketing, including, but not limited to, Website Design, Production, and our online Community (Appian Community, found at community.appian.com), the free version of our product (Appian Community Edition), the Appian AppMarket and developer relations.
Focus on the prioritization and delivery of features, content, and experiences that benefit those who visit our community and or website.
Eagerness to learn, collaborate and grow within the technical Marketing sphere.
About You:
A strong work ethic, working day-to-day across multiple teams, a large set of business stakeholders, and developers to build and manage a prioritized product backlog.
Excellent empathy and communication skills, understanding and advocating for the needs and interests of your end users.
Confidence to cultivate and present new ideas, and receive feedback on features and experience enhancements.
Passion for user experiences focused on highlighting software innovation.
Interest and aptitude for conversion focused and engagement focused online community experiences.
Competency with using qualitative and quantitative analytics to inform data-driven decisions.
To define and own product goals and OKRs with a focus on mission-level impact.
Preferably, experience with Adobe Platform.
Basic Qualifications:
B.S. degree in Marketing, Communications, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math, or otherwise demonstrated aptitude for technology and digital.
Internship within a Marketing function preferred.
